SPECTRA 2015: New Year's Eve Under the Arches

Set your new year ablaze with a spectrum of festivities, live entertainment, mixology and the best, unobstructed view of the fireworks in all of Seattle at SPECTRA 2015: New Year's Eve Under the Arches, Pacific Science Center's annual New Year's Eve party. Celebrate the year past and the year yet to come at SPECTRA 2015 with an evening of luminous surprises.
Sip on bubbly handed to you by an aerialist hanging from a chandelier of champagne. Discover the science of the spherical with live science demonstrations. Indulge with a signature cocktail inside one of our exclusive lounges or pop into the Bubble Bar for another flute of brut. Ignite your sense of wonder inside our expansive exhibit halls, planetarium and Laser Dome. Move to the musical musings of KEXP's top DJs including DJ Darek Mazzone, DJ El Toro, DJ Sharlese and DJ Alex. Top it all off with a toast under our signature arches (talk about an unbeatable Instagram opportunity!) and an unsurpassed, unobstructed view of the fireworks.

Should I bring cash?
Yes, all of the bars will be CASH ONLY. Come prepared, every drink you buy supports science education. There is an ATM outside our main entrance and there are also ATMs in the Seattle Center.
Where can I park?
Pacific Science Center’s Claypool Garage will be open and there are several parking lots in the surrounding area. Detailed parking map available here.
Where can I enter?
All guests will enter through our Main Gate Entrance on the Seattle Center side of Pacific Science Center. Our Denny Way entrance will be closed.
Do I need my ID?
This party is 21 and over. A current, valid photo ID is required to enter. Have it ready to speed up the line.
What should I wear?
New Year’s Eve is a perfect opportunity to get dressed up, be creative and fun! There is no formal dress code so you can be as fancy or as laid back as you want.
Where can I put my coat/purse?
Coat check is FREE!
Will there be food?
BeanFish will be in our courtyard selling delicious treats all night.

STEM: Science Uncorked

Come learn about the other "stem" education at Science Uncorked. Enjoy an evening sampling some of Washington's finest wines while exploring the science straight from the vine. Enjoy unlimited tastings from participating wineries, a souvenir wine glass and delicious appetizers paired perfectly with various wine selections.
