A 62-year-old albatross that was banded in 1956 at the Midway Atoll in the South Pacific recently hatched a healthy chick, making her the oldest known bird living in the wild to produce a baby. Scientists estimate that she has flown up to 3 million miles since 1956 - that's 12 trips to the Moon -- and hatched as many as 35 chicks. Learn More
