Celebrate National Parks Week At Pacific Science Center

by | Apr 11, 2016

Each spring, the National Parks Service and the National Parks Foundation invite everyone to celebrate National Park Week, April 16 – 24. In honor of the vibrant and iconic landscapes of over 400 national parks, Pacific Science Center will offer guests a variety of opportunities to enjoy the new IMAX documentary, National Parks Adventure 3D, now playing in the Boeing IMAX Theater.

Between April 16–24, 4th graders can receive a free ticket to National Parks Adventure 3D to coincide with the “Every Kid in a Park” campaign*. Fourth graders must be accompanied by an adult and mention the offer to receive their free ticket to the movie. Free admission is only valid for 4th grade student.

Pacific Science Center has also partnered with Barnes and Noble for the “Where’s Prairie Dog?” promotion. Every day during National Parks Week, a plush Prairie Dog will be hidden around the Pacific Place Barnes and Noble in Downtown Seattle and Pacific Science Center will tweet clues about its location. The first person to correctly identify where Prairie Dog is in Barnes and Noble with the hashtag #FindThePrairieDog will receive two tickets to see National Parks Adventure 3D. Make sure to follow @PacSci on Twitter for your chance to win.

To get to and from the Science Center, ride the Seattle Center Monorail and take a photo in front of the National Parks Adventure 3D Prairie Dog banner on the Seattle Center platform.

National Parks Adventure 3D is now playing in the Boeing IMAX Theater. Check our schedule for our latest showings.
