Current Science Exhibits

at Pacific Science Center

The Basics

Local Research = Compelling Stories

The Pacific Northwest is a hotbed for research and innovation, generating discoveries that are changing our world. Pacific Science Center shares these stories through two temporary exhibition spaces that change content every 6 months. The Studio and Portal to Current Research (P2CR) galleries use videos, interactives, text panels and artifacts to tell engaging stories about Washington-based science research.

Booking time on our schedule for one of the current science galleries pairs you with our exhibit development team and together you will craft an accessible and informative exhibit that will appeal to Pacific Science Center’s 800,000+ annual visitors.

Past participants have increased the impact of their exhibit by receiving our award winning Science Communication training that teaches effective and interactive ways to present complex scientific research to the general public. After training, participants then present their research in the exhibit space, engaging our visitors in one-on-one interactions, a rewarding and impactful experience for everyone.

“The ongoing display in the Portal Space gives your research a lot more exposure than you’d get from a single public lecture or one-time event.”
