Drone Day

June 1, 2019

How do you design a drone that can drop off packages, plant seeds, or help with search and rescue?

Can a drone carry a person? How do drones and airspace work? What happens when a bird meets a drone?

Public knowledge about the scope and capability of drones is limited primarily to hobbyists and science fiction. In reality, drones are being designed and engineered for a wide expanse of work. To help us all learn more about this exciting new field, Pacific Science Center is bringing local experts and the community face to face for one drone-filled day on Saturday, June 1.

Experience indoor and outdoor drone demonstrations and much more.

No additional cost for this event; Drone Day is included with general admission or FREE for PacSci Members.

Drone Day is part of PacSci’s Summer of Space celebration programming.
