Embark on a journey of discovery with a special screening of the documentary The Most Unknown (watch the trailer) as researchers seek to answer some of the biggest questions in science: how did life begin? What is time? What is consciousness, and how much do we really know? Alex Lincoln, an ecologist working with UW’s Alaska Salmon Program, will set the stage for the evening, sharing details of her own fieldwork studying the lives of salmon and grizzly bears in remote regions of southwestern Alaska in order to understand what was once unknown: how other animals depend on salmon and the effects that harvesting salmon will have on our ecosystem. This is a family friendly event. The movie runs 88 min.
