Are robots coming to a restaurant near you? Learn how robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and new restaurant models are working together to address the challenges restaurants face in the post COVID-19 world.
Join Clayton Wood, CEO of Picnic, a Seattle startup developing a pizza-assembly robot, for a discussion on how technology is poised to revolutionize the restaurant industry. The pandemic is forcing thousands of restaurants to close but the underlying challenges of food service have been putting a strain on the industry for years. From social distancing and hygiene to consistency, food waste and efficiency, learn about the benefits that robots offer to restaurants that can help them meet the challenge.
We invite the global community to participate from their homes via livestream found on Pacific Science Center’s YouTube Channel, as well as on this event listing and the Science in the City page. The livestream will begin at 7 p.m.
