Walk past the construction site of the New Arena at Seattle Center and you’ll see the historic 1962 World’s Fair roof floating in mid-air, but there’s no magic going on here. So how exactly does the 44-million-pound roof remain intact, in the heart of Seattle Center, while a brand-new arena is constructed underneath? Join our panelists as we take a deep dive into the engineering and science behind holding up the iconic roof that NHL Seattle fans will call home.
