Interactive Experience Jam
Pacific Science Center’s Building Four
November 3 – 5
Pacific Science Center is hosting its first-ever Interactive Experience Jam, a competition where participants are given a surprise theme and must create their own experience in no more than 48 hours. The competition starts at 6 p.m. Friday, November 3 and ends at 6 p.m. Sunday, November 5. Once time is up, each participant will present their project to the judges.
We’re working with the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, the video game design school located at Seattle Center. Many of the Academy’s students will be participating, while the staff and faculty will assist with judging and organizing the event.
Each participant must bring their own equipment to work with, but will be provided with Internet connectivity.
During Pacific Science Center’s normal operating hours, our guests will be able to watch participants as they design their experience. Following the competition, select winners may have the opportunity to display their work at Pacific Science Center for our guests to try.
Participants can register free of charge, but this event is filling up fast. More information and registration can be found here.
To observe this very creative work in progress, it’s general admission or FREE for Pacific Science Center Members.
