Opsiphanes tamarindi (Tamarind Owl)

Opsiphanes tamarindi (Tamarind Owl)

This week our Tropical Butterfly House will host lots of Owls! Owl butterflies, that is. Stop by and see if you can tell the difference between an Eryphanis polyxena (Purple Mort Bleu Owl) and a Brassolis isthmia (Small-spotted Owl) or an Opsiphanes tamarindi (Tamarind Owl). They’re all here waiting for you.
