Access Memberships

Enabling Access for All

PacSci is committed to enabling access to science and STEM learning for all

Access Memberships

As public health guidelines relax, we are actively exploring how Pacific Science Center can best serve the community, both at our facility and through our outreach programs. This is a process of renewal, in which we are working to improve the experiences we offer at PacSci while strengthening the long-term financial sustainability of our organization. Just as science continually evolves, so too will our programs and operations. Learn more

Current Member Update

Opportunities to use membership benefits will be limited during our phased renewal period. As we explore a new, enhanced, membership program, we will continue to provide members with opportunities for discounts and exclusive access for the programs currently available. These include a discount on our world premier hockey exhibition, summer camp savings and member-exclusive virtual programming. Members can also continue to use their ASTC reciprocal admission benefits at qualifying institutions across the country.

Renewal sales are not available at this time. PacSci will apply the value remaining on each membership at the time of our closure to the general public to our new membership benefits. For example, if a membership had one month remaining at the time of PacSci’s facility closure in March 2020, one-month of value will remain to be applied toward member benefits going forward.

Membership FAQ

How can I request new membership cards or proof of membership? During PacSci’s closure we are not able to fulfill requests for membership card reprints. If you need proof of your membership, please email to request digital proof.

How do I use the ASTC reciprocal museum program? A Pacific Science Center membership allows you to visit any ASTC museum for free. There are two restrictions to this rule: one, the museum must be at least 90 miles AWAY from Pacific Science Center’s address. Two, the museum must be at least 90 miles AWAY from your home address. Each ASTC Travel Passport Program participating institution may have its own rules and policies regarding use of this benefit. We always recommend calling or emailing ahead of time to find out what kind of proof and ID these institutions require. View a full list of ASTC museums and rules and restrictions.

On a trip and forgot to pack your membership cards? No problem! Contact the PacSci Membership Office at and we’ll send you email proof confirming your membership.
