Wild Ocean Adventures (Grades K-1)
From plankton and orcas to saltwater and seaweed, dive to deep depths to discover how marine animals survive in their environment. Create an underwater viewer to observe creatures below the surface. Take a closer look at shark teeth and learn about animals that journey between fresh and saltwater. Discover a world of wonders on this sea-sational adventure.

Science Myths Busted (Grades 2-3)
Can you really slip on a banana peel? Will pop rocks and drinking soda make your stomach explode? Using physics and chemistry, design and conduct experimental trials to test urban legends and age-old misconceptions. Combine the scientific method with wild curiosity and plain old-fashioned ingenuity as you explode a week’s worth of myths.

Duct Tape Challenge (Grades 4-5)
Can duct tape really fix everything? Find out as we trace the famous tape back to its origins and put it to the test. Complete engineering challenges that expose its strength and durability. Use duct tape to design a messenger bag and other 3D works of art. Conduct experiments to get out of sticky situations and learn why duct tape is the most versatile tool in your kit.

NEW! App Inventors with Computing Kids (Grades 6-8)
Discover how to build games and solve real-world problems with App Inventor. Explore fundamental computer science concepts by drag and drop coding a real computer and phone app of your own design! Advanced learners can even opt to code their app in JavaScript. Apps made in this camp can be shared on any phone or computer and played online!

Camps at Mercer Slough

All camps in Bellevue run 8:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Legends of Polliwog Pond (Grades K-1)
We found a map left behind by Pirate of Polliwog Pond and we need your help to follow it to the treasures of the wetlands! Work with a team to solve puzzles and riddles that will guide you through an outdoor expedition. Practice reading and creating maps while combing the trails for plants and rocks. By the end of the week, your treasure chest will be filled.

Winter Survival (Grades 2-3)
Think you can survive in the wild? Armed with a compass and map, you will navigate through the forest and paddle the Mercer Slough waterways. Build a shelter out of natural materials and learn which items you should always have with you in the wilderness. Gather the skills you need to stay safe in the wild and prepare for the “Survival Challenge!”

Trash to Treasures (Grades 4-5)
Go beyond the classic reduce, reuse and recycle. It’s time to UP-cycle your trash into treasure as you dive into the sustainability of stuff. Investigate how far across the planet our trash travels and what happens when we throw things away. Practice leaving no trace on a hike, make your own recycled paper, and turn old T-shirts into something new. We can make a better world, one person and project at a time!

Camps at St. Thomas School

Camps in Medina are four-day camps running Feb. 18-23. Camps run 8:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. St. Thomas School prices include lunch and snacks.

Out of This World (Grades K-2)
Glittering galaxies, blazing asteroid belts, shimmering shooting stars and other mysteries of the universe await a junior astronomer like you! Join our spaceship adventure as we journey on a trip that’s out of this world. Soar through the solar system, create Saturn’s colorful rings, and build a telescope. It’s a weeklong space-tacular adventure filled with the excitement and sizzle of astronomy.

NEW! Grossology (Grades 3-5)
Get slimy, squishy, icky and sticky as you explore the messy side of science. Digestion, dirt and decay are just a few things that you will come across as you investigate the more impolite aspects of zoology, biology and chemistry. Experience delight and disgust as you step into the gross world of science.
