New Shows In Our Planetarium

by | Aug 17, 2015

When you travel the Solar System and beyond in our Planetarium, you’ll be guided by a live Planetarian who will answer your questions and tailor the show to your interests. Where else can you get a personal tour of the Universe?

We invite you to check out our newest shows:

Planets

Come fly through the Rings of Saturn and see the largest volcano on Mars! In this show you will learn about and visit the planets in our Solar System. The show is live and interactive so no two presentations are the same. Have a question about the planets? Our performer can explore the answer with you! (40 minutes – Appropriate for adults and children ages 4 and up. Children under 4 years are not admitted to this show. Ticket required: FREE tickets for Pacific Science Center members.)

Worlds Of Stone, Worlds Unknown

Johannes Kepler lived over 400 years ago but NASA uses his ideas to send spacecraft to other planets and even find planets orbiting other stars. In this program you will learn how NASA uses these ideas to explore the Solar System and beyond. You’ll get to see imagery from NASA’s latest exploration of Pluto. (40 minutes – Appropriate for adults and children ages 4 and up. Children under 4 years are not admitted to this show. Ticket required: FREE tickets for Pacific Science Center Members.)
