Night Walk On The Wild Side

by | Sep 7, 2016

September is here, school is getting under way, the weather is changing, football is starting, and our staff at Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue is gearing up for one of our favorite programs.

Night Walks at the Slough are back! What are Night Walks?

“A Night Walk is truly a multi-sensory program where we learn about the different animals that are out at night,” says Nathan Zabel our School Programs and Site Supervisor.

You can learn more about exploring the amazing Mercer Slough park at night in the PacSci Podcast below. But we can’t recommend this program enough. For families or you and a few friends, this is a terrific way to spend a fall evening in one of the Northwest’s premier nature parks. Learn more about getting signed up and take a couple of minutes to hear what it’s like to discover this fascinating world right here in our back yard.
