“Access is the key to igniting a child’s curiosity – and our future”
“Imagine what our region would be like today if every student had access to high-quality and highly engaging STEM education, if every adult was prepared to participate in a STEM-based economy, if everyone was curious, if discovery, experimentation and critical thinking were the norm.”
So begins an article recently published by the Puget Sound Business Journal, an article written by Pacific Science Center president and CEO, Will Daugherty. The purpose is to illustrate the need and importance of providing science education for all.
We hope you’ll take a minute or two and read it, then consider helping. We’re convinced it’s important and we welcome all. As Will said, “It’s a bold vision, but we can work together to achieve it by providing more students with access to informal science learning experiences.”
