Preschool Family Play Lab
Spend an afternoon at Pacific Science Center getting hands on with science!
At Preschool Family Play Lab, kids learn about science with their favorite person, you*. Play Lab gives you the tools to help you teach your child science. In each 1.5 hour class, you and your child will sing songs, experiment with different materials and learn together about a specific science theme in our designated Early Learning Classroom. Afterwards, explore exhibits with your child. An adult must be present with each child at all times. For more information, call (206) 269-5741.
*Any adult family members or close friends (i.e. parents, grandparents, godparents, aunts, uncles, nannies, etc.) are welcome to accompany a child.

Additional Adults & Siblings
Play Lab is designed for parent-child pairs of one child and one adult. Additional adults and younger siblings under 2.5 years old may attend for an additional fee. Please add an additional adult or a younger sibling under 2.5 years old at the time of registration.
Please note, Play Lab activities are designed for children 2.5 years and up. We understand that childcare for younger siblings can be challenging to find during Play Lab and welcome babies-in-arms and toddlers, however children under 2.5 years old may not be invited to participate in all activities, depending on the materials and skills needed.
If you would like to add an additional preschool-aged student ages 2.5-4, please complete this registration process again for your second student.
